Welcome to La Salle School, HomaBay.  We are scheduled to open our doors on 26th of July 2021 for our first Academic Calendar.  

Our entrance and presence in Homabay is out of the courtesy of the Catholic Diocese of HomaBay.  First I would like to take this opportunity to thank the former Bishop of Homa Bay who is currently the Arch Bishop of Kisumu Arch Diocese, the Most Reverend Arch Bishop Phillip Anyolo for inviting the Brothers of the Christian Schools (De La Salle Brothers) into the Diocese.  This invitation took place some three years ago and it took sometimes for all the required logistics to take place before the brothers could move into the diocese.

I would also like to Congratulate the New Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Homa Bay, His Lordship Bishop Michael Otieno Odiwa for his appointment and installation as Bishop of HomaBay Diocese.  He becomes in the history of the Diocese as the first Bishop to be appointed from the Diocese, he is truly Son of the soil from Sori, Karungu bay on the shores of Lake Victoria.

On behalf of all the Lasallian family in Kenya, we are very happy to extend and expand our Education mission to the Nyanza region of the Country.  Since the Brothers came to Kenya in 60s, we have worked in Education missions in North Eastern, Nairobi, Central and Rift Valley areas.  

In collaboration with our Lasallian International Education Network, we continue to promote the Congregation’s mission in Education of lifelong pursuit and exploration of wisdom, knowledge, and faith.  We also affirm the value of both liberal arts and professional studies that leads learners to fulfilling lives marked by a commitment to the common good.
