On Thursday, 19th September 2024, La Salle School Homabay had the honor of hosting Br. Augustine, the Novitiate Director of the Lwanga District for English-speaking countries in Africa. Br. Augustine’s visit was a momentous occasion, filled with insightful interactions and an inspiring message of hope and dedication to education.
During his visit, Br. Augustine took the time to meet with the students, teachers, and staff, sharing words of encouragement and reflecting on the Lasallian mission of providing quality education and fostering a strong sense of community. His presence was a testament to the values that La Salle School upholds — dedication, faith, and service to others.
As a symbol of his visit and in commitment to the environment, Br. Augustine planted a tree in the school’s garden. This act not only marked the importance of his visit but also symbolized the lasting impact of nurturing growth — both in nature and in the lives of the students. The tree planting served as a reminder of the school’s commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation.
The Director Br. Antone Oloo FSC expressed gratitude for the visit, stating that it was a privilege to have Br. Augustine share in the school’s journey toward excellence in education. The visit was a remarkable moment, leaving a lasting impression on both the students and staff, and reinforcing the school’s mission to uphold Lasallian values in all its endeavors.
As the tree grows, so will the legacy of Br. Augustine Ranchal’s visit, inspiring future generations of students at La Salle School to continue striving for excellence in both education and community service.
Bloom where you are planted. Good job to brother Antony for hosting brother Augustine the FSC brother and the entire LaSalle school homabay doing well. Keep it up
